ASSISTANT BUYER

The assistant buyer supports the Buyer’s mission to maintain proper inventory and stock levels across our growing omni-channel company, including: two physical store locations, ecommerce platform, live selling platforms, and trunk show locations. Primarily responsible for SKU creation and inventory management. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy while thriving in a fast paced environment is key for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Manage new SKU creation

“Tag” products to align with SKU organization and reporting needs as outlined by Buyer
Create product copy in line with the brand’s standards
Maintain accurate costs of goods and inventory counts for new and existing products
Ensure SKUs created align with product tags used in stores

Edit, maintain, and publish product photography for all SKUs

Take original detailed photography of all pre-owned items that arrive in store and edit to align with website imagery and highlight each item’s uniqueness
Coordinate on-figure photos and videos of every item
Attach brand photographs to all contemporary goods and make available for sale on our ecommerce platform

Manage Inventory

Monitor new arrivals each day and make sure they are accounted for accurately across our omni channel platforms & shopify
Archive out of stock items to maintain clear visibility into available inventory
Responsible for accurately tracking store transfers and executing transfers between store locations (travel between stores 1-2 times per week)

Input invoices

Check in products using the provided invoices as a reference and reporting any discrepancies to the buyer
Enter new arrivals into the system, paying special attention to accuracy of SKU, quantity, and cost of goods
Maintain organized records of all goods received and discrepancies from invoices

Act as liaison between Buyer and Retail Experience Manager for execution of in-store events

Work with Buyer & REM for execution of in-store events
Work closely with Social Media Manager to execute branding initiatives

This is a full time position.

Salary: $40,000 annually

ASSISTANT MANAGER, STUYVESANT PLAZA

The assistant manager supports the Retail Experience Manager (REM)’s mission to execute Lola Saratoga brand standards within the Stuyvesant Plaza location, including: ensuring store cleanliness, presentation, and merchandising in accordance with REM directives. Primarily responsible for taking the lead on selling within the Stuyvesant Plaza location. Leadership skills, strong communication, self-motivation, and a desire to create a memorable luxury shopping experience are key for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Perform and execute all elements of retail operation per brand guidelines/protocols

Maximize in-store presence to meet sales goals through store presentation, management, and customer relationships
Take in customer feedback and implement relevant changes, or relay feedback to REM
Work with REM to initiate sales through clienteling tools, including but not limited to the wishlist
Create a memorable experience for our clientele, and position our brand as a leader in the luxury handbag market

Maintain appropriate levels of store supplies

Track all levels of supplies, including: packing and shipping materials, brand materials, cleaning supplies, and office supplies and communicate with REM when reorder is necessary

Train, motivate, mentor, and provide feedback to sales staff

Coordinate employee reviews in line with schedule set forth by REM
Provide staff members with day-to-day feedback to motivate individual and team growth, and overall store growth
Use strong communication skills and lead by example

Keep merchandising of product and store displays fresh and on-brand

Update window displays in both store locations for seasonality and special events
Remerchandise focal tables on regular rotating basis to focus on trends, new arrivals, and relevant themes

Support Retail Experience Manager with initial consignor setup

Showcase knowledge of consignment process at Lola Saratoga including order of operations, payouts, and contract
Work with Buyer, Assistant Buyer, and REM to manage all incoming consignment inventory and consignor information
Demonstrate strong attention to detail when inspecting items in order to ensure accurate pricing
